How to Spot Fake Housing Societies in Lahore
Red flags every buyer should know before paying a booking — from unverified maps to pressure tactics.
Lahore's property market moves fast, and so do scams. Every month, buyers lose crores to societies that exist only on glossy brochures.
**Red Flag 1: No verifiable approval letter.** Ask for the actual LDA, RUDA, or DHA approval — not a "file in process" claim. If they won't show it, walk away.
**Red Flag 2: Pressure to pay cash without documentation.** Legitimate developers issue proper booking forms, payment receipts, and allotment letters.
**Red Flag 3: Layout plans that don't match ground reality.** Visit the site. Check if roads, boundaries, and amenities match what's promised.
**Red Flag 4: Developer with no delivered projects.** A track record of completed societies is the strongest signal of delivery capability.
Anmol Estates exists because these problems are systemic. Our six-point bar checks each of these before we agree to market a project.
